Charlotte Frieze: Atlantic High, March 30 - April 25, 2019
Atlantic High is Charlotte Frieze's first solo exhibition at KMR Arts. These exquisite watercolor paintings were made over an extended period of time at various Atlantic Ocean locations from Little Compton, Rhode Island to Bahia, Brazil. Frieze's paintings are glowing meditations on the constantly changing equation of time, climate and the vastness of space. Summers spent on a lake in Northwest Connecticut left a lifelong impression on the artist and it is fitting that this work is being exhibited in Litchfield County.
